Beer Haiku Friday - Jumping the Gun

Captain Hops returns with a Haiku called "Jumping the gun". I suspect this scenario will play out in many New Zealand offices today. Not mine though - I'm lunching with the Epic Imp.

Not quite five o’clock
But a half empty pale ale
Sits next to his mouse
