Erceg empire 'not a perfect fit' for Lion

Lion Nathan could struggle to integrate Independent Liquor into its business and turn around its slowing growth, an industry watcher says.

Independent said no decision had been made on whether to sell. The company was founded by the late Michael Erceg in 1987 and introduced alcopops to New Zealand.
